5 MUST-SEE EXHIBITIONS in ISTANBUL

1. NAZAN AZERİ, SONGS WITHIN ME @Loft Art
The exhibition featuring works by Nazan Azeri in various mediums such as painting, photography, and video was opened under the curatorship of Nergis Abıyeva as this year's prestigious exhibition at Loft Art. The exhibition will be open for visits until December 1.
2. “2.5B” @YUNT
Opened last year, YUNT welcomes the new season with the exhibition titled 2.5B, curated by Murat Germen. This exhibition, which will be on view until December 6, invites visitors to explore the universe of two-and-a-half dimensions, a representational method that exists between two and three dimensions. The artists featured in the exhibition are: Tanzer Arığ, Gökçen Ataman Tanyer, Nora Byrne, Gizem Çeşmeci, Nermin Er, and Semih Zeki.
3. TAVILOGLU COLLECTION, A COLLECTOR'S STORY @various locations
The Taviloğlu Collection, which Mustafa Taviloğlu began with great excitement in 1972 and has continued to grow for 52 years, has met the audience through an exhibition spanning seven areas. Curated by Derya Yücel and Marcus Graf, the collection features works by 903 artists and includes 2,412 pieces. It will be open for visits until December 15.
4. ALEKOS FASSIANOS, SAILING TO BYZANTIUM @Zeyrek Çinili Hamam
The exhibition "Sailing to Byzantium," featuring the works of Greek artist Alekos Fassianos (1935-2022), will run until December 31, 2024, at Zeyrek Çinili Hamam. The exhibition brings together Fassianos' artworks with Istanbul's historical and cultural heritage. Curated by Anlam de Coster, the exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Alekos Fassianos Museum in Athens and takes place in the Byzantine cistern discovered during the restoration of the hamam.
5. AVNİ LİFİJ @1851.gallery
Istanbul’s new gallery, 1851.gallery, opened its doors with previously unseen photographs by Avni Lifij. The first exhibition of the gallery, founded by Kerim Suner, features Lifij's photographs produced using platinum-palladium printing. If you'd like to see the works of Avni Lifij, one of the 1914 Generation painters, for the first time in a specially prepared exhibition a century later, be sure to visit 1851.gallery.
